Dr Sylvain Lemoine

Dr Sylvain Lemoine is an Assistant Professor in Biological Anthropology in the Archaeology Department at the University of Cambridge. He created the GMP in 2022, establishing a new long-term field site for the study of non-human primates in human-primate interfaces. His main research interests include inter-group interactions and conflicts, evolution of social relationships and cooperation, animal culture, behavioural flexibility and adaptability, and non-human primates conservation. Dr Lemoine is a member of the administration council of the Société Francophone de Primatologie, and member of the Primate Society of Great Britain (PSGB) and the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB).
